Definitely not Republicans. They are trying to kill Social Security and Medicare. At least Dems are trying to fight to stop them. Republicans are throwing America's elderly and disabled under the bus.

With presidents, congress and senate leaders, and many other in their late 70's, one would assume some empathy for retired senior citizens and elderly.

The AARP is, but at the pace of a normal year.
They need to be more radical. Like suing DOGE for their closure of Soc Security field offices? Underwriting ads in red states, that feature Martin OMalley. He is the former head of Soc Security and testifies convincingly that Musk is 90% of the way to breaking that agency.

Is it helping senior citizens to have other senior citizens in top government offices? Should they expect better advocacy and favorable policies to make life easier for elderly?
