You have to strength train. That's a no-brainer and been said for decades. It's mostly fad routines trying to tell women not to weight train or that they don't have to weight train.
Basically complete opposite of what works for men. Not that simple. Men and women are very similar. The whole "women's training routines" are just more marketing stuff.
