You cannot fast or work out fasted. Yes, of course you can. It's harder, and you won't train as hard, but if fat loss is your goal, then you pretty much want to, to speed up results. He already sounds like a scammer trying to sell some "new" breakthrough hype.

You have to eat enough calories. Well duh, but again "enough" varies according to you goals. To gain muscle mass, you have to each excess calories to build muscle. To lose fat you have to eat fewer than maintenance to lose fat.

You have to strength train. That's a no-brainer and been said for decades. It's mostly fad routines trying to tell women not to weight train or that they don't have to weight train.

Basically complete opposite of what works for men. Not that simple. Men and women are very similar. The whole "women's training routines" are just more marketing stuff.

You seem confused or goofed uo your post.

The best exercise is the one you will do.

The best time to exercise is when you will do it.

“Fasted morning cardio” is bro science.

Complete nonsense. It's calories in, calories out for me and always has been, even with thyroid removal and perimenopause.

The only time I lost weight is when I worked physically hard job for 10-12 hours and ate half the calories I eat now. I had lost my appetite, didn't really crave sweets like now and could not finish small dinner plate.
I'm trying to go back to eating less as I feel like I don't need that many calories at 47. I just got my somewhat physical job back, but it's 6 hours only. Will see if both together make a difference.

Everybody, and every body is different. I don't eat until 10:30/11am every day, and work out every morning before work. Works for me to lose weight, and even when I am not trying to lose. I'm just not hungry first thing in the morning

Yesterday’s Mel Robbins’ podcast on specific, scientific things women need to know about exercise and nutrition. My jaw is on the floor - so many things I’ve been doing wrong.

(And a couple of things I’ve been doing right, just based on gut instinct and what felt right to me, even though I’m getting slammed here for doing them…)
