I think Foster is the outlier so I don’t see any reason you can’t use Robert.

Rob is a good nickname and matches with Max and Emma.

Robert is a less popular name but that's not a bad thing.

Foster is a boy, it was a family surname of someone we wanted to honor.

It’s a fine name but it does stand out among the other names. I would expect a Leo or a Finn instead.

What sex is Foster? I already think that's an outlier with Emma and Max (is there a longer name or just Max?), so go with Robert if you want. It's a nice name. And most of the people who know him won't also know all his siblings. It doesn't matter if their names match. For nicknames, Rob or Robby are fine. I'm partial to Bert but ultimately he'll pick for himself what he likes to be called!

Robert as a sibling for Foster, Emma and Max? It's a family name and I do like it but don't love the nicknames Bob or Bobby. I think Robbie/Robby is cute, but not sure if it goes with the other three. Thoughts?
