Same thing at volleyball games with my kid. Parents making loud noises and distracting comments when the opposing team was serving the ball. It nearly came to a fist fight once (two dads).

Don't get me wrong, there are tons of awful swim parents out there. But this so far over the top and would have been witnessed by hundreds of parents. It's also telling that they haven't come back to answer any questions.

A parent shouting "don't let that a**hole kid beat you!! Don't you dare let that a**hole kid beat you!!" goes so far beyond the scope of what'd you see at a meet.

It's the art of trolling, take something based on reality and then exaggerate it.
