She said it doesn’t hurt at all and she can see just fine, but do I need to take her to urgent care to get it checked out? Do we wait and take her to see an eye doctor on Monday or that’s not needed either and it’s the kind of thing that just goes away on its own?
Never had an eye injury before so not sure how to handle. It looks disturbing since the white part of her eye is so red, but maybe it’s not a big deal.
I'd go to urgent care rather than DCUMing this. It's her eye. If it's nothing, welp, you wasted a bit of time and some money. If it's something that can be healed faster/better with care (eyedrops, opthalmologic ointment so it doesn't get infected...), then you'll have faster access to it.
Skin scrapes, I wait. Eye injuries, I get a professional's opinion.
