Thanks! We found an Airbnb there. Is it a student-y area? Or more upscale? Not that it matters, just wondering about the vibe.

Not student-y, it's a bit too far from campus. Not really.upacale (that's Queen Anne and Madison Park), but Seattle low key upscale. Would be a good spot, but the walk to U-W not especially nice, crossing the freeway, etc. But very frequent bus service along 45th from there straight to campus.

Ballard if you're into craft beer, good food, and cool locals vibe.

We always stay near the train station at the embassy suites. We rarely uber anywhere. Area is super walkable.

Why bother with a car if you're going to stay in a walkable area? Do one or the other.

I might go for Capitol Hill, more on the 15th Ave side than the Broadway side. Nice parks nearby like Volunteer Park, and the Arboretum is only maybe 2 miles. Some nice restaurants and shops on 15th, and more on Broadway.

Ballard is great also, especially if there for the Sunday market. Queen Anne is beautiful but $$$$.

Visiting UW during spring break, staying a few days and want an Airbnb in a nice walkable part of town. We’ll have a car. Which neighborhoods should we consider?
