I bring lunch and dinner ( I work 12s)
Today I have salad ( from a bag) with added cubed cheddar and rotisserie chicken.
I have leftover penne Alfredo for dinner.

We have a microwave and fridge at work

Yesterday I brought cut up Roma tomatoes with balls of mozzarella, salt/pepper seasonings.
Leftover baked potato with butter/cheese, tuna.

Salad which often contains leftover protein or veg from dinner.

Usually dinner leftovers.

When there aren't leftovers I make a salad. Towards end of the week I have to get creative. The other day it was chopped up cucumbers and avocado topped with canned tuna, dressed with olive oil and lemon juice.

I take the same thing every day. Tomato and swiss in a pita pocket. At work I nuke it for 15 seconds and dip it in salad dressing.

Mostly leftovers, but I keep a stash of Trader Joe’s frozen Indian meals on hand for the days I don’t have anything.

I take either sandwich ingredients that I keep n the office fridge, or salad ingredients.

Chick not chicken! As in garbanzo.

I often make a salad of fresh chopped veggies. Sometimes a couple slices of fresh mozzarella on top. I like tomato sandwiches when I can find really good tomatoes. Sometimes I mix drained canned chicken peas with olive oil, chopped parsley, chopped garlic, lemon juice and hot pepper flakes. And I like to have fresh fruit and good chocolate on hand. I’m not vegetarian but just realized I bring a lot of vegetarian things.

Same. Sometimes I bring salad (greens+ protein) and dressing on the side + bread. Sometimes just a sandwich.

I bring a bunch of snacks. Yogurt, bananas, granola, carrots, hummus, protein bars, apples, peanut butter, uncrustables. I don’t know, I can’t put energy into lunch.

Turkey chili and oatmeal with peanut bitter and raisins are two lunches that I’ve eaten repeatedly, usually with mint tea and maybe a piece of fruit.

Dinner leftovers. I generally double or triple recipes with the intent to take leftovers for lunch.

I now keep souper girl soups in the freezer at work for when I am not up to packing a lunch. When I pack, it is either leftovers or salad - lettuce or broccoli mix with cabbage, chick peas, feta, tomatoes, other vegetables, and often small containers of olives, pickled onions, hummus or salad dressing. It depends on what we have.

If you bring lunch from home everyday to work, what do you pack? I’m specifically interested in what you bring if it’s the same lunch everyday. No PB&J, and not what you send your kids for lunch; I mean adult packed lunches.
