Hamas is better off putting the hostages into the direct line of fire of the Israeli airstrikes. Surprised they haven’t done it already.

I don't understand why Hamas doesn't release the hostages and return the bodies of the dead. What on Earth did Palestinians in Gaza gain by taking all those hostages? Nothing is going to improve in Gaza until the hostages are returned. It's not complicated.

After the hostages are released and Hamas surrenders. Until then, it's legitimate self-defense. Just like when Japan, Italy and Germany surrendered to end WWII which they started, after 500,000 German, 150,000 Italian, and 800,000 Japanese civilian casualties. Correctly, nobody in the civilized world characterized that as "genocide".

Hamas can end the deaths, they just don't want to.

Last administration should have done something effective. They only poured more fuel on the fire.
