Then we would have to make up yet another day. Some people need to pay attention.
We are paying attention. Either way MCPS needs to add a day somewhere. Delaying the communications of that decision because some unlikely April snowstorm would require MCPS to add a second day is silly.
Why would that mean 2 days? THey ad the same days no matter what. Every day off from now on will mean adding another day.

No idea, but my kids teacher told the entire class not to show up on the makeup days because they won't be teaching anything that day.

Has there been an official announcement yet about the school year? I heard a rumor that the state waiver was denied so they will have to make up a second day-- does anyone know if that is true and if they have picked a day? The website still has Monday June 16th as the last day of school.
