It’s not stylish, but I really like my travelino tote and another little bag I have from them. I haven’t tried the backpack but I think the brand is reliable for the price point.

That only works if there is space. Most of the time the overheads bins are filled up with carry on luggage.

Also, when traveling with two carryons, one has to be small enough to fit under the seat, regardless of whether you actually end up placing it there.

I use my osprey hiking pack. I’m usually on travel where I’m active so it always doubles as my personal item.

I also have a similar version of this from Tumi. It's popular with a lot of women who travel a lot for work.

I don't care how nice it is. It is at least $400 overpriced.

If you're determined to do this, find something washable.

I'm not going to eat it, PP. I'm using it to hold clothes and shoes.

Looking for a new under-seat (not overhead bin) carry-on bag, ideally with backpack straps. I have a little rolling bag, plus a great over-the-shoulder tote which I love when I also bring along a second suitcase. But when that tote is full, I hate lugging it through the airport/train station/wherever because it starts to hurt my shoulder. I'd love to have a bag that I can use as my only carryon (for weekend trips, etc.) by slinging it on my back. Do you have one you really like?
