These are good. Yes, it's a bit nuts to mail order this stuff, but it's only once a year.

+1. Panera's coconut macaroon is so much better than a Mounds.


the coconut to chocolate ratio is so much better. Plus the coconut is sweet, but not corn syrup sweet.

Get a good macaroon and your own melting chocolate and dip your own. Freeze them and guard them like Smaug.

Theo's makes a dark chocolate coconut candy bar but it seems hard to find in stores.

Panera Bread's macaroons with dark chocolate on the bottom are fantastic. 3 for $5.

These are my absolute favorites, but in the past few years must have changed formulas because I can no longer eat them. It's mostly the chocolate that doesn't taste good.
