Patriot League athletics is Division 1, NESCAC Division 3. Williams, Amherst, and Bowdoin have stronger academic reputations than Colgate and Holy Cross. Only Tufts and Holy Cross have access to a city-Boston. The rest of the schools more rural.

I'll correct my grammar: themself.

You appear to be naive.

Seriously, NESCAC. Lafayette and Colgate would be reasonable matches/safeties if applying to mostly NESCAC.

It is not a serious question because a serious question would involve the actual schools involved. OP has an agenda that has nothing to do with a DC. Perhaps he is a high school “volunteer.”

Sounds like this thread is a commercial for this stupid link which you are being paid to advertise. Go away.

The analysis is maintained by volunteer social scientists, is updated monthly and offers free access to the public.

If someone such as yourself has nothing to contribute here, it would, indeed, be better if you went away.

my kiddo had the same choice - there are a number of sports that recruit from the same pool of kids, and the level of play is very similar. I wouldn’t say that the Williams wrestling team could compete with Bucknell, but i believe their x country team could most years.

If the choice is Williams or Bowdoin, go there - other than that it’s a coin flip

But it is a long commute from Holy Cross to Bucknell to get on that Patriot League pipeline!

When considered by faculty publishing, as in the analysis linked below, NESCACs, such as Williams, Middlebury, Amherst and Hamilton, appear to offer top-notch economics departments.

Is this a serious question? I will not treat it seriously. Since Holy Cross is better than Connecticut College, I guess that must mean the Patriot League is better. Golly.
