They can recheck her ears and if there is still an infection they will give another medicine. It took 3 different medicines and a change in diet to get my dog's ears straightened out. If you don't want to take her in for another appointment, try calling the vet and they may be willing to advise you based on your description.

Thank you. Good advice

Get some epi-otic online. Make sure you're getting it all the way down in the ear, not just at the outside. I soak a cotton ball and stick that in the ear, then fold the outer ear over it and massage, which squeezes the solution into the ear canal and holds at least some of it in. Massage for a good 30 seconds or more, gently pulling the ear and massaging at the base to make sure you're getting solution into all of the ridges and folds. repeat 2-3x/day for a week

If that doesn't work, yes, you'll need to go back to the vet. While it doesn't seem to be bothering your cat now, it could lead to hearing loss, dizziness or other dysfunction if left unattended.

Yes, take her back for a recheck. The drops don't always get it the first time.

She doesn’t seem bothered but her ear reeks. I need to take her back to the vet, right?

She is traumatized when she has to go to the vet
