DD accepted Psychology - 4.68/4.0/790M/740V. Just got WL at WashU so this was a wonderful surprise. I honestly think she's more of a fit at WashU but her CMU essays were stronger and more personal so maybe that made the difference?

Accepted into Dietrich. Small public school in Frederick County. 4.7 GPA, 33 ACT. He put a lot of sweat equity into his common app essay. Likely made the difference I would guess. Rejected UChicago RD after EA deferral. No surprise there of course

yea, that's still good. My DC from a magnet 2 years ago was flat out rejected -- very high stats.
