I was specifically speaking about the consumer purchase of eggs. Use fewer eggs. Buying a cake from a bakery or donuts is already a luxury/unnecessary purchase. If you’re feeling pain from them adding $2 to a cake then how is a $28 cake affordable to you? Also, that doesn’t sound that expensive…

Yep. The company I work for has gotten 3 notices so far from our longtime international customers that they cannot renew their subscriptions with us this year because of the political climate. We are not related to the government nor are we a government contractor. We are just a plain jane software company.

His asinine policies are hurting all in the US. That's $60k we know we are not making this year.

F Trump and Musk. I hope they both get severe herpes flares that last months.


Friend in EU said many people are boycotting US companies and products.

However, apparently they are not getting the media coverage that many here are also economically boycotting MAGA companies and products. They are misled to believe that a majority of Americans support Trump’s aspirations to annex Greenland/ Canada and Panama Canal as well as cozy up to Putin, blame Ukraine for illegal Russian invasion and launch trade wars with Canada/ EU and other major trading partners.

Eggs are a staple in a lot of American cooking, and have been for a long time. You're asking most of the country to make a pretty drastic shift in their diet, when many of them depend on eggs as a formerly cheap protein, at a time when the cost of groceries has skyrocketed. Welcome to rationing, since stores are putting limits on egg purchases. People can eat peanut butter as long as they don't have allergies.

You can in fact use fewer eggs. They are produced inhumanely anyway. Eat beans if you want protein.
