They didn't say teachers- they said MCEA.

MCEA represents the interests of a select group of people, not all teachers. And certainly not students or parents.

I think it's important for MCEA to support teachers and not be against teachers when violence happens as it happens all the time. Many admin want to blame and fire teachers because there is no support for us and we are mandatory reporters. Admin hates when reports get written because it messes with their optics and then they retaliate.

I worked with Doug as a teacher. Great person and great teacher. Class act.

As MCEA president, he was also fair and did not always rank and file with every dream wish of every teacher. He was clear also that he was not in the business of protecting bad teachers from accountability.

I get we want to rage against everything and everything is a conspiracy but I believe Doug deserves and earns jobs.
