+1. The dog bath was the best investment I ever made. It's also great utility sink for all kinds of things. I have time to do it myself these days, so I also invested in grooming equipment that paid for itself almost immediately.

If there is a Tractor Supply Co. near you, they have dog baths available for rent. The PetSmart near me has grooming services and will do just a wash and dry.

NP, for me it's that my dog has a double coat so it's less about the wash and more that they need a full blow dry.

I have not seen anywhere that the wash is the same cost as a full cut. Where are you? I'm in NoVA which does't help if you are far from here. But Vienna Petspaw and Sparkles Groomcraft will both do a wash for much less than a full groom (haircut). Wag n' Wash has you-wash stations which are quite inexpensive and easier than doing it in your bathtub and they provide the dog shampoo/conditioner, towels, etc., so all you need to bring is your dog (and treats to calm them down). Wag n wash also has groomers here.

I pay $35/month for membership. I take my dog once a month, and they do the bath, nails, and teeth—and I don’t have to pay anything extra (except for a tip) You can add on other services if needed, but I usually just stick to the basics.
