It's not clay. It's silt loam. Although fairly tight and heavy, out loam is still considered "well drained". Go to Texas to find some real clay.

How much do you need? Dirt haulers will bring a dumptruck full for you if you need enough for a garden or large flower beds. About 5-10 Cubic Yards worth, for around $150-200 per cubic yard.
You can buy it by the sack in smaller amounts at box stores in the garden section. 40lb bags.
