Apple Cider Vinegar or baking soda.
Those two are on the extreme ends of the pH scale and that is what you need.
Vacuum it up first if you can because otherwise you are just smearing mold around.

To make yourself feel better get a mold testing kit. Otherwise get Tilex and go to town. Run some fans and buy a dehumidifier.

Black mold is not an invention of HGTV. It can cause very real health problems in genetically susceptible and immunocompromised people. This area is terrible for mold.

OP, you can buy an inexpensive mold testing kit on Amazon, swab the mold, and send it in.

And for people buying a house - please get the infrared imaging for water issues. If we would have we would have saved ourselves some serious health problems and thousands of dollars in remediation.

Black mold is basically an invention of hgtv.

They needed some kind of drama event to add at the 35 minute mark of every 1-hour long home renovation show. "We were supposed to do everything on a $100k budget, but we found black mold! [insert shower shrieking noise from Psycho] It's going to cost $30k to fix, so now you have to decide between your primary bath spa, or expanding your mudroom."

Just because you have mold that is black does not mean it is "black mold". You have mildew. (Toxic black mold is rare and usually grows in areas exposed to standing water for a long time.) Spray it with a diluted bleach solution and get a dehumidifier. It's probably a good idea to get some shelving units so you don't have cardboard sitting on a concrete floor where it can absorb moisture.

Vinegar and bleach clean it? No water is leaking through; I don’t know how this happened. Is this dangerous? Will it spread? Infect other boxes (not near the wall or affected area).

I’m so grossed out right now.

It's likely just mold that is "black". Real black mold is slimy and you will know the smell and never forget it if you encounter it.

Spray with 50/50 bleach5%/water mix and let that set for a couple hours. Wipe with fresh 50/50 mixture and then plain water, and dry it well afterwards with a hair dryer if it was on wood or drywall surface.

That's it. Just leave airflow and prevent moisture in the future. Always check basement humidity levels.

Spray Tilex mold and mildew remover. You may need to run a dehumidifier periodically.

You found dark growth on your walls. That does not mean black mold which is really toxic. More likely garden variety basement mildew. But you should test it and get it cleaned up for sure.

Dilute some bleach and clean it. Done.

It means you have water intrusion. It doesn’t mean the mold is harmful or dangerous. But it does mean your gutters and/or perimeter drains are not functioning properly.
