Contact Democrat US senators and plead with them to vote NO on the budget resolution until there are changes made to it—like allowing DC to continue with its 2025 budget.

Maybe private nanny shares from all of the people who are getting cut? But, yeah, it's going to be tough for families - especially families who need public preK spots so that they can continue to work.
