What exactly do you mean by transparency and accountability? To whom? As a private school parent I am paying for a certain type of education with a specific type of peer group for my kids and my school has been very accountable for providing that.

It's PRIVATE school. No one is required to apply. They don't have to tell anyone anything

The OP wants schools to publish details on application, financial aid and acceptance rates, demographics and details. In other words, information that they are neither entitled to nor will ever see.

Nope. They're private. They can admit whomever they want.

Transparency to whom? They are private schools. Their Board of Directors and prominent donors can see whatever they want to see. If they are successfully attracting and retaining students that serve their goals and mission, why do they have to show rejected applicants the details of their processes and decision making?
