This is total bs.

Science denier? It's established.

Zyrtec op. Daily not just when you feel bad. Wash your hair everyday if you spend time outside.

I started seasonal allergies when I moved here in my mid-20s. Never had them in the midwest. I take zyrtec, flonase, eye drops, and singulair. Don't open your windows at home. Take a shower and wash your hair nightly. Mine are the worst from mid-February through June and late August through October.

This spring has been particularly bad for me.

Actually I've found after a few years they have been better. Did you consult a Dr OP?

It never gets better for me. I go through tons of tissues and allergy pills.

Sorry, I misspoke. It depends on what you’re allergic to. There will be lots of allergens about until November, but many people will feel better as we move from Spring into Summer.

Many people get seasonal allergies for the first time after relocating to the DC area. Some of us get them after living here for much of our lives. About 15 years ago, the weather and pollen patters changed, and many people—including adults — developed seasonal allergies for the first time.

Get outside more. Trying to avoid the allergens just prolongs the amount of suffering and you don't build up immunity to them.

Next year start the allergy meds in mid February. For now, double up on the meds. It will take a few days to start helping.

It doesn't get better. Take some Zyrtec, use Flonase and Pataday. Ask doctor for azelastine spray. Use all four daily. Wash your hair and use a new pillowcase each night.
