LCMS is the middle of the road/fairly conservative branch of Lutheranism. ELCA is the more liberal branch. The Wisconsin Synod is the most conservative of all.

Lutheran Church Missouri Synod churches might fit what you’re looking for. There are a number of them in the Dc-MD-VA area.

While many Presbyterian churches have become much more liturgical, historically the various Presbyterian denominations were not at all friendly to many things associated with the liturgical tradition (ex: the church calendar) and some still aren't. But then again some are practically Presby-tanglican these days...

PP who mentioned the ACNA and these are both ACNA churches in the slightly more conservative diocese (doesn't ordain women as priests). The Falls Church Anglican, Truro, and others are in the just slightly more theologically liberal diocese (does ordain women as priests). In my years of experience with both dioceses you will find people across the political spectrum being respectful of each other at all these churches and politics is not preached from the pulpit.

If that's not close, generally any ACNA church will be what you want in terms of middle of the road politically. Theologically pretty conservative, but some diocese ordain women (which at least back in the 90s was theologically liberal) while others don't.

If OP isn’t Greek, I would recommend OCA instead because the liturgy will be in English.

However, if OP is a bigot, one of those breakaway Anglican churches (the ones so scared of gay folks that they joined an African diocese) like Truro or Falls Church Anglican might work.

Episcopal churches lean liberal. Anglican churches lean traditional/conservative.

Where are you? St. John’s Lafayette square might work for you, depending on location. It is episcopal.

Hi, we’re looking for a conservative/middle-of/the-road liturgical non-Catholic church. The several churches we have been to have been very liberal and many political. We are looking for something more middle of the road and wondering if anyone can point us in the right direction or whether it exists here. Thanks!
