What School? You can appeal the decision. I know of a school that is “suspending” students by suggesting they stay home for a few days “to cool off” and not documenting anything.
The principals go after the kids they don't like. They've been doing it for years. In ES, they hold the kids in the office for days and don't tell the parents (did that to us and our child wasn't verbal enough to tell us and I only heard about it through another parent who worked at the school- kid liked the office staff so asked to stay longer).
