Many shorts are hemmed. Undo the stitches and re-hem them to a longer length.

Children's Place has some longer shorts. Colors and denim.

All of the girls I see wear shorts that basically have their ch eels hanging out. Can’t imagine long shorts on a middle schooler. I wish the trend would change.

Following. In the same boat with my DD, who has a 31" inseam and goes to a school where shorts are supposed to reach mid-thigh.

I'm starting to think about shorts for my 11 year old who is average height but has really long legs. She wears a 12/14 in girls sizes but the shorts are SO. SHORT. and she wears an XS ofor leggings at Aerie, but women's/junior's XS and XXS in other brands are too big around the waist. Any suggestions?
