TSJ GA is a Loudoun program and they practice at Hanson Park. That's not Springfield.

A big complaint is that girl players don't have equal access to competitive leagues. The posters point is that this provides more access and opens the door to higher development. The naysayers of scum are out in full force. When has Loudoun ever produced superstars. I can think of only one or two. The focus should not be on producing superstars but improving from mediocre phase one to mediocre phase two. Developing MORE girls is moree important than placing Olympic medalists! Development is what is going on and at a wider scale.

This post, is exactly what's wrong with soccer in this area. Adding more teams doesn't suddenly make more girls better in this area. The talent is what the talent is, and this just further dilutes it.

Northern Virginia already is nationally recognized for developing elite girls soccer players. With the Washington Spirit's training facility now in Leesburg along with the DC Power, Loudoun will undoubtably become a top destination for the elite players in NOVA. If the NWSL creates a Spirit academy then that is where it would be.

wow where to start. first of all, can you even say tsj is in loudoun? they are for now, but they can't field teams at younger ages since they went to vrsc so their future isn't looking good. vrsc hasn't produced any good players. nva/ls is the same club putting two teams in the GA to keep the cash flow going and hoping the delulu parents stick around. there's talent in loudoun for sure, but it's watered down at this point. parents put their kids in travel just so they can say they play travel.

Most of the five girls driving to VDA will soon regret their decisions. The recruiting drive will bypass most of those players still running a kick and run game while players at lower levels will be garnering more attention because they play a organized game. The numbers will speak for themselves and Loudoun will be come the preeminent location in the country for girls soccer.
