Make dinner reservations, although not all places take reservations.

It can be hard to find parking at some beaches and you have to pay/have a pass to get into some of the areas. Where are you staying?

I assume you know it will be too cold to go into the ocean? Hopefully, the weather will be warm enough for a good beach day

Fireworks and concerts at Shelter Cove. I think Wednesdays, but check.

Not Op, but the Marriott vacation club properties are our go-to when visiting HHI. Hilton also has a vacation club there. They’re all well-located condos, and have kitchens and multiple bathrooms and bedrooms. Most are on the beach but some properties are not. They offer wonderful daily activities for adults, kids, families. Lots of bang for the bucks you pay.

My teen enjoys bike rides along the beach, kayaking the local creek/river, dolphin sunset cruise, segway tours, bird/nature hikes, fireworks during summer, beach time, and checking out all the delicious restaurants in HHI. I’ve heard the shrimp boats are fun, we may try that next time. We’ve been to HHI many times and always find new stuff to do. My teen boy loves it, it’s his favorite vacation.

HHI
- Charter a boat (Outside HHI is great - they have lots of other activity tours too like kayaking and paddleboarding)
- Dinner at Coast at Sea Pines
- Mini golf!
- Coastal Discovery Museum
- Adventure HHI ropes course (have not done it but friends who go every year have)

Savannah
- Depending on your teen, the house from the Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (blanking on name) tour is actually fun, or at least more fun for a teenager than some of the historic house tours
- If you're there in PM, ghost tour

Lay at the beach and drink.

The Prohibition Museum in Savannah is fun. And of course there are other fun things to do on HHI besides golf.

Charleston isn’t a far drive to also visit for the day.

Check to see if Savannah Bananas are playing in Savannah- they are sold out but you can get on StubHub.

I love both places but there isn't a ton to do if you don't golf. The beach and bike rides keep us busy. The ghost tour in Savannah might be fun for them.

We're going to be in Hilton Head for Spring Break this year and it's our first time there. Any thoughts on fun things to do with two teenage boys?

Also thinking about a day trip to Savannah and wondering if you have recommendations there.
