It’s actually very sensitive to casting. The original Broadway cast was superb. The last time Hamilton came to the Kennedy Center it was kind of mediocre, Burr was played as a pathetic fey weirdo, and Hamilton was a cypher.

+1 Hamilton and Lin Manuel are a gift. Richard Grennell is awful. The Kennedy Center in its current form does not deserve Hamilton. I'm sure Kanye West and Kid Rock will come.
