I can't comment on milia because it's not an issue for me, but the formula is pretty lightweight and not as emollient as other eye treatments.

Get a new dermatologist. Lasering them is pretty dumb…they aren’t on the surface but they do pop right out if given a channel and some help. I’ve removed dozens over the years.


This! I can’t believe she lasered them! The are easily removed with a tiny needle, not a laser.

I don’t think eye serums do anything anyway. So go to the dermatologist about the milia, if they’re bothering you, and they can talk about laser options for your eyes.

Thanks, from OP. Unfortunately many of the eye creams listed there have caused milia for me. But I appreciate the link and see that my thread is duplicative.

I am OP and my dermatologist even admits they are really hard to get rid of - she lasered a large one (as part of other facial lasering) and it never fully went away. I’ve tried so many things and it doesn’t get rid of the milia (I clean my lids with occusoft in the morning and evening, I don’t rub my eyes, I carefully, carefully apply trentinoin under my eyes).

So now I am just hoping to find an eye cream that doesn’t cause new ones.

Tiny poke with a needle and I pop them right out. The next day you can never tell they existed. If you don’t feel comfortable, have a pro do it.

I’m 55 and prone to milia. However, my undereyes are getting increasingly droopy, dry, dark circled, with fine lines and sometimes puffy - basically, aging!

I’m looking for recommendations for an undereye cream/serum/gel that doesn’t trigger milia to form.
