Second, I have a hard time believing you really need to pretend to be poor. Can’t you choose to not discuss your financial situation like most normal people do?

I don’t carry debt either and no one is giving me money. I own my late model Benz outright. I just keep my mouth shut and silently express gratitude for my financial situation. It would be ridiculous to play that you’re struggling.
