Janes Island in MD. It's a hike down there, but it's really nice. Go before the flies come out.

All of the VA State Parks are great. On the website, you can even do searches for parks with water. Only a few have views of the water from the cabin itself, but many have lake, ocean, or river in walking distance of the cabins.

Looking for a long weekend at a rustic but scenic cabin at one of the MD or VA state parks. Westmorland State Park in VA looks nice but is under construction. Any other ideas for a place that’s somewhere near water and pleasant? Thanks!
