I am currently using Assisting Hands (Bethesda) to help with my mom 12 hours a week, not sure if they cover Alexandria. I have been happy with their service/people.

I'm looking for an aid to help with my father while I'm away for a week. I live in Alexandria. I spoke with one agency that seems very disorganized and asked for my credit card over email (red flag). Are there agencies any of you have used that you recommend? Any tips to help me determine if one is legitimate? Thanks
