It is corrosive, I do not recommend. I was doing this for some time in the past and it started causing me stomach pain. I think just drinking lots of water when waking up (especially with electrolytes) or even without is much better and will have the benefit in and of itself. Water with a dash of good salt and a bit of sugar would replenish and re-hydrate.
