2011 parent here. Ds joined a few years ago. Placed on white team and rostered on navy team in short time. His growth and response to the training was faster than any other time in his soccer career. And he likes the environment and team.

Don’t know anything about girls.

Turf
EDP teams practice at Shrevewood on grass when they know they have a game on grass in MD or PA
Some away games are a hike and field conditions can vary. Makes it more interesting

Where do they practice? On turf?

Arl and Alex soccer took some of their strong players in the past year and the team never missed a beat. Don’t think that’s the case for all years. Tho they do have a reputation for being particularly strong with developing younger players.

2011 definitely on the rise. Was there a few years back when 2011s couldn't win a game, and has reversed course for the top Navy team.

OP here - agreed on the 2011s. There are 3 teams and the top team is what the players aspire to get rostered on, and they have to work for it. The top team roster seems to be kept intentionally smaller, and players often have the opportunity to guest on the top team and show their skills. A lot of the parents know each other, aided by a two week-tour to England in 2024.

2011 is quite the opposite of that environment and their top team keeps getting promoted in EDP. It’s a strong age group with a lot of talent. The PAC coaches don’t really tolerate that kind of behavior — they kind of make that clear from the get-go to the parents and the players. Feeling like I’m giving away trade secrets at this point, but it’s the honest truth.

Can anyone comment on the team dynamics of the 2011s?

We are in a bad place and are looking to move our son from a land of bullies and parents screaming at kids during games.

Somewhere between 2,500-3,000 annually. It’s a year-round program with outdoor and winter futsal/indoor included. In season includes 3 practices a week (sometimes condensed into 2 nights), out of season 2x a week weather permitting. As for your other questions suggest contacting the owner Sully Hamid. Don’t let the subpar website fool you - they focus on player development, not marketing.

Another huge bonus here is that the whole culture is team oriented - no real parent or teammate drama that lasts. It’s a positive environment that feels focused on the right things about youth sports.

Good luck!

Top players trained at PAC occasionally end up in more prominent clubs on their top teams. There will be naysayers here undoubtedly, though based on experience a great club for player development.

What is their yearly fee?
If your age bracket doesn’t exist, could we bring an entire team? If so, could we continue our shared play time philosophy?

Here is the website. No fees listed. Practices look like they are in Falls Church.

Tell me all the ins and outs of PAC. I saw on their website that their fees are based on playtime. Is this true? Do different players pay different amounts? Is playtime shared equally at the younger ages? What is their travel fee? Are their coaches good? Do they have teams in all age groups? Can I start one? If I coach it, will they discount fees for bringing a new team? I want to hear all positives and negatives. Not sure website is up to date so all info would be good.
