I remember her in her wizard show and her voice was normal. She definitely is struggling to enunciate or open her mouth all the way. I heard a long interview with on NPR and was just as monotone as she is on the show.

She’s always had marble mouth. It’s there in a Ramona and Beezus movie my kid watched this year, before her lupus.

Not everything is a diagnosis, calm down celebrity warriors.

Probably caused by lupus itself rather than her medication. Google lupus impact on vocal chords …

I found it grating at first but it goes well with her dry personality for the show.

Is it lupus medication? It’s so drawling and hard to listen to. Watching Only Murders in the Building and it’s not pleasant. Has she always had this voice?
