I really enjoy Sinclair Lewis but I hated that book. I think it was because of his obvious self-insert character cheating on his wife shamelessly.
Main Street, Babbitt, Arrowsmith, or my favorite Dodsworth are much better reading.

I used to enjoy his books as a teen in post Soviet Russia. Used to be popular there. Maybe try another one of his books?

"It Can't Happen Here." Is it worth pushing through? I'm about a quarter way, and I've struggled to get that far. I keep thinking it will get interesting....does it?
