Good. So many restaurants shouldn't even exist. Should be a special occasion and people going out to spend money, not just $15.
I remember Sundays being the worst. I remember a Sunday when I 13 tables that spend $25 max in full service restaurant.

Thank you for pointing that out. I feel terrible for the people in the DMV who are losing their jobs. However, that doesn't negate the cost point. I am able to order basics from restaurants that I then supplement with additional protein and starches to stretch the meal out. The grocery store prices are out of control.

COVID was a bad situation too and the restaurants that offered good value did survive. IMO, the price difference between cooking for myself at retail goods pricing isn't that different from restaurant pricing since they buy at wholesale. I did, and still do, concentrate my dollars at fewer places. Those places use healthy and quality ingredients.

Most Feds have always brought their own lunch to work. This is nothing new.


+1. I spent decades eating at the DOE cafeteria. The idea of Feds at restaurants is laughable.
