ITDS is where we are, similar child with dyslexia. It probably has better support than most DCPS middle schools but don't expect much more than reading help, there is no real strategy or curriculum implemented at the middle school level regardless of what they tell you.

ITDS, but then what?

I would look at Sojourner Truth bc then you have it as a high school option for sure.

We have a smart kid who scores high on standardized tests most of the time and who wants to do well in school. Due to dyslexia, dysgraphia, and some ADHD, he needs some accommodations in school (extra time, preferential seating). He is a rising 8th grader. Any recommendations for a middle school that could meet his needs?
