Colonial Williamsburg/College of William and Mary/Busch Gardens for sure should be on your list. If you go when it’s warm, stay at Kingsmill - they have an awesome resort pool.

We are new to the area and I am gathering ideas for both day trips and long weekends within driving distance with elementary aged kids.

So far we have visited Annapolis, Baltimore and Philadelphia and are planning on going to a Delaware beach this summer.
