True, but Vance doesn’t have to keep Musk around, he just has to adhere to whatever Thiel wants. Vance also has zero charisma and limited experience, so Vance without Trump won’t have nearly the support that Trump does. There’s also the chance that in a capricious fit, Trump could dump Musk, but he’s got what he always wanted: the props that go with being POTUS, while Musk and his minions do the “work”.
