Of course but I like fresh stuff.

The broccoli you bought yesterday is still edible today.

Models are forecasting 20 inches, therefore we'll get 6, at most.

So you do your NORMAL shopping, WITHOUT hoarding. Just check that you're not running out of toiletries, don't buy the whole aisle. How many rolls of toilet paper do you actually need???

You have more chances of losing power during tomorrow's wind gusts than the Wed/Thu event. So maybe before tomorrow, get matches, batteries, and find your flashlights.

Live in NE so used to snow storms. You don't need to stock up per say just make sure you'll have enough TP, soap, trash bags, laundry detergent, dish detergent, and whatever products like that you'd use for a week.

Then I get a couple easy meals like Panera soups, bread, salad ingredients, and things like that. We have a generator if we lose power but the stove and oven don't work as well with it.

Then some snacks that we don't normally get to make hunkering down a little more fun.

Milk, bread, toilet paper, plus a week's worth of proteins. In the worst storms, it can take 72 hours before the plow comes through. For this one, it will likely be 24-48 hours at most.

Forecasts are all over the place and far from guaranteed at this point. Some models are showing 4 inches.

I get very anxious thinking I’ll run out of stuff during the storm. What things do you like to have on hand when you can’t leave the house for a few days. I usually go to the grocery store daily but with a foot of snow next week I’m not sure I’ll be able to do that.
