No, in-pool scores are the top 10% of scores at a particular school.

Kinda answering my own question, found first equity officer was Karla Bruce in 2018 so would think FCPS argument would be that this role is not just a new “woke movement” position, but one in place since 2018.

Not directly.

There is some discretion available through principal placement, but racial bias is systemic not explicit.

In Pool is the the top 10% by pure score. It is race blind. It doesn't necessarily matter that much, since any kid not in the pool can be referred by the parents or teachers.

Selection into AAP is not race blind. Race, languages spoken in the home, and FARMS status are all included in the packet viewed by the committee.

The individual race/ethnicity of students Iis not a factor when determining the pool for each school. It’s simply the top 10%.

Just top 10% in the building using nnat and Cogat. Best was your child scores and where do they go to school?
