PJ’s in Bethesda has some field hockey stuff. We’ve bought glove and other non-stick gear there but never a stick so not sure around their selection. Might check Falls Church location if it is convenient.

Agreed, I’ve seen sticks at various Dick’s but not sure if they are largely beginner sticks.

I assume the issue is you want to try out some sticks. I’m not sure of any stores in the DMV where you can try a lot of sticks.

Otherwise I offer the standard advice, ask to borrow a bunch of friends sticks at practice and see what you like. It seems to me Osaka gets the most love/hate feedback (our daughter does not like how it feels), so I definitely would not purchase one without a solid test run.

I've seen Gray's sticks at Dick's Sporting Goods in Bailey's Crossroads before.

Would love to see a few options in person. Nova is preferred but willing to drive in DC area. Not willing to drive to PA for this.
