I'm not someone who needs plot to love a book and it still didn't work for me. Who knows why some authors resonate and others don't. I always wonder about that, especially when a book feels like it's universally loved and I'm the odd person out.

And I was disappointed by This Other Eden also. I am done reading his work even though it gets so much acclaim. It's just not for me.
