The government previously had Offices of the Inspector General who were rooting out fraud and waste. Trump fired them all.

Do these calls actually work? I have (liberal) friends who are calling our (Republican) representatives every day. But I personally feel like our representatives are bought and paid for - controlled by dark money - and they will keep supporting Trump no matter what.

It feels like we have no power, except to vote them out in the next election.

If you live in the DMV, absolutely! It’s the bedrock of this area. We could be running 10 trillion dollar deficits and people would still be like “but but this program is useful people will die”

I am loving this app. You enter your location and it populates a list of topics you may want to call your local politicians about. You can click the cause of your choice and it will provide a script and the applicable phone numbers. You can then mark whether you made contact, left a voicemail, etc.

I've been calling my reps daily and it takes me less than 5 minutes. Just thought I would share.
