Roads around Yorktown are fine and they are working on sidewalks right now. The parking lots are mostly good except for the spots where they decided to dump the snow. That’s not cool.

The County tweeted during the early January storm that all the bus routes were cleared. They then took the tweet down when APS still didn't open. So is that what it's really about?

The bus stops continued to be problematic for a while in early January and schools opened. Ours was. In a situation where the snow doesn't melt off (not typical for our climate but happened this time), some bus stops are going to be challenging.

Ours just got plowed but was passable before then anyway. With these temps the side roads are passable.

We are three blocks from a metro and our entire neighborhood has not been plowed.

People need to start asking why APS doesn't spend some money to have schools properly cleared in a timely fashion. The County gets entrances to all their buildings cleared nearly immediately because they use contracts and get people out there whenever the snow ends even if it's in the middle of the night.

Open or delay. Shouldn't be delay but they never miss a chance to delay.

We’re about to head over to Nottingham and do just that if it’s not already done.

I think open on time. It’s not supposed to be below freezing at any point this afternoon or overnight. Driving around Arlington it already looks clearer than a few days after the last storm

Hopefully not. Our road is already clear.
