Sure, a fun way to spend time together. Go see a variety of games at different levels. Georgetown or Maryland or American. Plus a DIII school like Catholic.

There are spring games. Georgetown Men’s team plays in a spring series with wake forest w&m, v tech and Duke and sometimes from others. Just check the Mataram or team pages.

Games are fun and inexpensive - if you start checking some of the college team websites, they should be posting their spring scrimmage schedules soon. Those may even be free to attend.

I would also recommend checking out some of the local summer semi-pro leagues too - USL-W is mostly college players, NWSL is also similar with quite a few college players.

Almost every college team scrimmages in the Spring against other teams. Easy to go watch.

2nd vote for Georgetown. Tickets are usually $10 or less. Go on a nice evening next fall. Open seating. Some games are televised on ESPN. Easy parking, small crowds.

But I'd also take her to a DC Power Game at Audi Field or a Washington Spirit game is you have not sone so yet. Games resume this Spring.

My son loves to watch UMD play. Although the main season is fall, there are some spring games.

I have a son so we’ve been attending men’s soccer games. UMD is very easy though we haven’t seen the women play. He loves it and it’s a cheap outing.

Just go to the closest game. I watch a fair bit of college soccer and many times the best games are the rivalry games or just some random game nobody would expect.

Go to a variety of different colleges because there are huge differences in how they play just like in club soccer at the youth level. Georgetown plays a very physical direct style. American University is also nearby. The highest level college soccer will be ACC teams like UVA/Duke/UNC.

Definitely. Georgetown has a good women’s team, too. Much closer to Bethesda than Fairfax.
