Everyone is different. That was the perfect time for us to travel. Kid wasn't mobile yet and we could stick them in a pack n' play anywhere. Now doing it the second time with a 2 year old and 5 month old wasn't the brightest idea but it wasn't because of the baby-she was a piece of cake.
