I’m curious too- my child was notified about the automatic OOS merit scholarships for GPA. But I’m wondering if more departmental scholarships will be released soon.

My in-state 4.7, 1450 got $0.

This year my oos 3.4 test optional kid got $11k.

Bumping up this thread. My DC is strongly considering going to VCU arts OOS. Does the art program usually give any scholarships to incoming freshman?

Congratulations! That is awesome.

Our oldest got in to VCU (not Arts) with excellent merit. I can’t remember when the offer came. She wound up going elsewhere. But we will visit again with our junior in high school daughter this spring.

It is probably the top public arts school in th country. We know several grads who are doing well in their careers.

DD was accepted into VCU Arts - her first choice, yay! What are the chances for merit aid with a 3.7 GPA and 1270 SAT? (I don't even know if SAT matters).

Anyone else's child accepted? How are they feeling?
