The Washington Square Hotel has a “Penthouse King” room that, when combined with the “Penthouse Single” room that is attached, makes a great suite for families.

Baby is not sleeping on the floor! I would just worry that their would not be space to use the bathroom with the packnplay in there too.

Check out Sonder in FiDi. We stayed in one over the summer with our toddlers and it was great to have a kitchen for easy meals on hand and a W/D.

You could look at new Rochelle too...they have at least one suite style hotel near the train (Amtrak and metro north) station. If you are doing stuff in upper Manhattan or Bronx (zoo, Yankees game, ny botanical gardens) it could be convenient

I stayed in a one bedroom suite at the 50 Sonesta. Good location. Separate bedroom.

This hotel is in my neighborhood, and I know they have suites because friends have stayed there.

It's in a safe neighborhood that's very family friendly and has easy access to the subway. It's also a short walk to Central Park and the American Museum of Natural History.

Heading to NYC for a few days during our 4 year old's spring break, and trying to figure out the best hotel option for us (4 year old DD, 5 month old son). Ideally, we'd like a suite hotel where the living area is separated from the bedroom by a door, and DD would sleep in the living room, while DS would sleep with us in the bedroom (either in a pack n play, or in the bed). Unsurprisingly, what we're looking for is had to find in Manhattan (and for the hotels that it does exist, its super expensive). With that said, we've shifted our expectations to finding a one room hotel in Manhattan, where DD would sleep either on an air mattress, or in one of the beds, and DS would sleep in the pack n play in the bathroom (he gets up alot in the middle of the night still). However, it's impossible to tell based on pictures online if these hotel rooms are big enough to fit a pack n play in the bathroom/an air mattress in the room. From the few times I've stayed in a hotel in Manhattan, I remember the rooms were very small, so I want to ensure that they're going to be big enough for our needs before booking. Has anyone that's been in a similar boat able to find a hotel that worked for them? Are there any other possible solutions that I'm missing? We're willing to stay a little bit outside the city (Brooklyn, Jersey City) provided that said hotel was close to a train station.
